365-35

Yes.  I've been on a food kick latley haven't I?  Well, the weather as of late has made us be home more than usually and......well.......I cook.  These are baked cinnamon sugar yeast doughnuts.  I made the dough last night in my trusty bread machine. Rolled them out and let them rise in my oven.  Dipped them in butter, cinnamon sugar and......yummies in the morning.

#2 So you didn't bake or fry them? Confused.
#3 I literally JUST set down my book I was reading about the right way to make donuts (and bagels), which my hubby usually does. He has not been measuring the temp of the oil, so not getting it hot enough...which keeps them from soaking in the oil. Explains a lot! :)

Yum...I just usually cheat and use canned biscuits.

looks so yummy!!! I make these with canned biscuits too. I have to do half cinnamon sugar and half powered sugar.

Oh. My. Gosh. Yumminess on so many levels!!
O, would that my mother would make donuts of delishiousness in the morning, that I would not be reduced to everyday buiscuits of adverageness.
